The coronavirus pandemic has highlighted the fragile economic position of many of the communities to which we are connected in Nepal, as well as the challenges faced by the country’s healthcare system, even in normal times.
On a case-by-case basis, we provide emergency funding for medical treatment, food, clean water and other supplies needed to help individuals or communities with urgent needs. We also organise medical missions to provide basic healthcare advice to remote communities.
We work closely with our partners in Nepal to disburse funds and ensure that they are used in the most efficient manner possible.
