First Visit of 2025!

Our first visit to Nepal this year was yet another incredible experience!

With a group of 11 this time (four adults and seven children – never a dull moment!), we set off from Abu Dhabi with 258 kg of donated clothes, books, and school supplies for the kids we sponsor in Kathmandu.

We arranged several activities for our sponsored children, including trampolining, making greeting cards for sponsors, crafting felt toys and playing football with the boys (these guys are very good!). We also took three of our sponsored children—Binita, Ristha, and Sakhira—to Shivapuri Heights Cottages for a short trip, giving them a refreshing change of environment and a break from their usual routine.

We also held discussions with Christian Community School about how we can support them with training and resources. Education remains a key focus for us, and we are looking at ways to contribute effectively.

On our final night, we attended a gathering at the girls’ hostel, where there were speeches, dancing, singing, and a special meal for all. The event was attended by 220 people, including children, TNI guests, and staff!

Finally, we dedicated significant time to planning additional child rescue missions. This is the more sobering side of our work, but we remain highly motivated to make a difference in the fight against trafficking in Nepal. We are grateful to LHFN for their commitment to this critical mission.

These trips allow us to assess needs on the ground and build stronger relationships with the children and organisations we support. We can’t wait to head back soon!
