Chandragiri Hills

On 12 March, James was joined by his good friend James (or Jimmy, to avoid confusion!) and Suman to take our sponsored kids to Chandragiri Hills, a hill station just outside of Kathmandu. This was the first time any of the children had been in a gondola (which goes from 1,550m to 2,551m in around 10 mins), and they absolutely loved it! The views at the top were breathtaking, with some Himalayan peaks visible above the clouds. James, Jimmy and Suman thoroughly enjoyed having lunch and hanging out with the kids, despite the constant fear that one of them would fall into the swimming pool outside the restaurant!

They later headed to the girls’ hostel, where they handed out clothes and dolls generously donated by friends in Abu Dhabi. Thank you to all who contributed!
