This year, we are riding through some of the most challenging and dramatic landscapes on earth to raise awareness and funds to break the vicious cycle of child trafficking in Nepal.
Two of the girls we support will ride with us:
- One was born in a brothel in Delhi where her mother had been trafficked at age 14
- The other was abandoned and was living on the streets, at high risk of being trafficked
Both girls come from the untouchable Badi caste in Nepal, where generations of women have been forced into prostitution.
Thanks to our support, these girls are rewriting their stories. They are safe. They are in school. They are discovering strengths and passions that were never meant to be part of their stories.
The mountain biking tour is a vivid symbol of their transformation. A ride like this takes courage, stamina and vision, the very qualities these girls now call their own. They are moving beyond the limits of caste, poverty and trafficking and forging their own paths.
Your support makes this possible. Every donation helps us provide food, healthcare, education, housing and above all protection from traffickers. It ensures that children born into the darkest of circumstances can grow into young adults with choices, dignity and hope.
